Synopsis

We have many locations lined up as we understand that pop music videos have lots of fast cuts from place to place and several costumes being performed in. So far we have had ideas to use:

·         Kidspace

·         An empty road

·         A children’s play area (Lodge Farm Park)

·         Rafael’s Park

·         Hackney

·         An empty cinema

·         The school

We have gained many ideas from visiting our locations and also watching professional pop/rap music videos. We have many unique, random ideas however such as reading whilst sliding down a hand rail, racing in children’s go-karts, being sucked in by slides and also getting various angles of playing with the guns at Kidspace. We have endless amounts of ideas for our music video as we often brainstorm as a group and make note of every idea. To fit the codes and conventions of pop/rap music videos we will have some shots of James and Joel simply performing in front of the camera. This is will show that the artists are professional as they have the stage presents to put on a show and entertain viewers. We are unsure as to how professional and realistic some of our ideas will be when  put in our final product and therefore we are planning to shoot much more than we need, in order to get the best results possible. From researching pop/rap music videos it became apparent that the common clothing artists wear is casual jeans and t-shirts/shirts which we plan to wear to fit this genre.
