Planning Diary for a Day of Filming

Here is our plan for a day of shooting, we plan to go to Joe's house (Brentwood) and our chosen locations in Romford and Gidea Park. I have decided to experiment using Smart Draw for this plan.

Storyboard

Here is a teaser as to what is to come in our  music video. We are not following any story lines or narratives in our music video, just random scenes and shots of us performing in situations we found ourselves when we were younger.
For this taster I have used Pixton which I found easy to use and appears very professional. A drawback I found of this website however would be the fact I was only able to use seven boxes in which to show the planned shots for our video. As we have so many locations and scenes, this was not enough to include everything that will feature in our video and so I plan to create a physically drawn out storyboard in the future. This will mean there will not be a limit to the amount of shots and scenes I can feature and so I can go into further detail about our plans.
This will then make it easier to film our music video as we will have a much more detailed and enhanced storyboard, as oppose to seven slides which carry very little detail.

Focus Group- Planning

Here are some quesions myself and James typed up quickly onto an iPad. This allowed us to carry our data around when interviewing different people, and show our interviewees the questions that were about to be proposed to them before being recorded.

Covering all the Bases

Whilst brainstorming in today's lesson we came to the conclusion that Friday's filming at Kidspace should mostly consist of us using the go-karts. To ensure there will be no problems on the day we have emailed in advance to make sure our plans could be made possible.

Codes and Conventions of Chosen Genre

After typing up my presentation on Codes and Conventions in a word document, I felt that I needed an alternative way on how to present my work, and on research discovered Zooburst, a website in which you can present posts in a story book format. I found this a very easy and effective presentation method, and will be looking to use this again in the future.
